Çağla joined EBB Law Firm as a trainee in 2017 and was admitted to the Istanbul Bar in 2018. During her early years in practice, she gained experience across insurance, shipping, aviation matters, including (re)insurance coverage advice, cargo claims, airport operators’ liability, and financial lease agreements.

She left the firm in 2021 to pursue her master’s degree at the University of Oxford, graduating with distinction in 2022. Her time at Oxford refined her analytical thinking and reinforced her solution-oriented approach to complex legal matters.

She then worked part-time for three months as a litigation assistant in the financial lines and political risks department of a leading insurance law firm in London. There, she worked on matters involving W&I policies and undertook legal research on coverage issues. Following this, she spent a year at a leading full-service independent law firm in Türkiye, where she practised dispute resolution, international trade, and commercial law.

This focused role has allowed her to gain considerable high-level experience in the (re)insurance and aviation sectors. Her clients include major international law firms as well as leading reinsurers in London, Germany, and Switzerland. She advises on complex coverage issues under property damage, liability, and financial lines (re)insurance policies, and handles contentious matters, including multi-party disputes, both in defence of liability claims and in recourse actions on behalf of (re)insurers. In the aviation sector, she advises on risks and claims involving aircraft insurance and aviation liabilities, and provides regulatory advice. She is a co-author of the Air Transport chapter of the International Encyclopaedia of Laws Transport Law in Türkiye, published by Kluwer Law International.

She has been recognised as a Leading Associate for Insurance in the 2026 edition of The Legal 500.
