BIOGRAPHY
İpek joined EBB Law Firm as a legal intern in 2020 and was admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association in 2021. Since then, she has played an active role in Feyzi Erçin’s team, advising on a wide range of shipping, aviation, (re)insurance, road carriage under the CMR, and international trade matters, particularly those involving the CISG.
İpek advises on various modes of transport, including shipping, road carriage under the CMR, and air transport. She has significant experience in cargo claims, collision and salvage disputes, ship arrest proceedings, charterparty matters, and seafarer claims. In the aviation sector, she regularly advises on air carrier liability, airport operator liability, and ground handler liability. Her insurance and reinsurance work involves complex coverage issues, including liability and property damage policies. İpek has been actively involved in all stages of dispute resolution since 2020, contributing to case assessment, strategy development, and client representation in settlement processes as well as court and arbitral proceedings.
She works closely with P&I Clubs, international air carriers, major reinsurance companies, and law firms in the UK, Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
